September was a busy and exciting month at Clay Street. Studio equipment and furniture has been ordered, but most importantly, the concrete pad that will support our new transmission tower was poured! A new transmission tower is essential for KZYX to be able to complete the move to Ukiah and the concrete foundation will provide a stable and solid foundation. The concrete pad needs to cure for a month. In the meantime, our new tower is being built in the greater Sacramento area and will be trucked to Ukiah when it’s ready.
KZYX also got an unexpected $175 thousand dollar gift deposited to the building fund account this month after a group of generous donors heard our appeals during the 174 Campaign. These funds will enable construction progress to continue on Clay Street.
